Getting to Gramado

Departing from Porto Alegre, the possible transportation towards Gramado are by transfer service, taxi or bus. Additional information on these possibilities will be presented below as well as guiding for those in need of visa to participate on the event.

Passport

A valid passport is required to travel to Brazil. We recommend applying for one as soon as possible, if you do not have it yet, as passports often take a while to be issued.

Visa

A visa is required for citizens of several countries. Please check the Brazilian Ministry of Tourism website for a list of countries whose citizens do not need a visa to travel to Brazil. For example, a visa is required for U.S. and Canadian citizens. For further information about visa application requirements, please contact your travel agent and/or a local Brazilian Consulate office.

If an invitation letter is required for you to apply for a visa, please e-mail a request to SBRC general chair, Luciano Paschoal Gaspary.
