SBRC 2010 surpassed yesterday the mark of 750 participants. International keynotes and tutorials had filled rooms, being attended by participative audiences. Yesterday, Alberto Montresor versed about gossiping protocols in distributed systems, and Claudio Bartolini presented tendencies in the field of TI prediction.

Claudio Bartolini, Principal Researcher at HP Labs Palo Alto, USA, is another international speaker confirmed at SBRC 2010. His main investigation area is Information Technology Service Management, having several published papers in international conferences and journals, in addition to numerous patents. Claudio will present the keynote Predictive IT Analytics and the tutorial IT Service Management: Best Practices and Research Challenges. Information about the Symposium Dinner now available

The Symposium Dinner will take place at Sociedade Recreio Gramadense, one of the most traditional clubs in the city of Gramado. A wide variety of meal and drink options will be served. In addition, the Best Paper Award will be presented during the Dinner, and a special attraction will be offered to participants. The Symposium Dinner costs R$ 60,00 per person. Vouchers may be bought during the event.

 
Alexander Clemm also confirms presence at SBRC 2010

We are pleased to announce that Alexander Clemm, Principal Engineer  at Cisco Systems (San Jose, California, USA) has also confirmed presence at SBRC 2010. Alexander Clemm is responsible for the architecture of manageability and embedded management capabilities of IOS and derivatives. He authored the text book "Network Management Fundamentals" and has over 25 patents issued or pending. Alex will present the keynote New Trends in Intelligent Manageability Instrumentation and the tutorial Device Instrumentation for Performance Monitoring and its Application in Service Level Management. Prof. Alberto Montresor confirms keynote speeches at SBRC 2010

We are pleased to announce that Prof. Alberto Montresor, from University of Trento (Italy), is a internationally distinguished expert confirmed  at SBRC 2010. Prof. Montresor has been an active member of both Peer-to-Peer Networks and Distributed Systems research communities, being author of more than 50 paper in conference proceedings and journals. He will present the tutorial entitled Gossip Protocols for Large-Scale Distributed Systems and the keynote speech Cloudy Wheather for P2P, with a Chance of Gossip.
