About SBRC 2010

The Brazilian Symposium on Computer Networks and Distributed Systems (SBRC) is an annual event promoted by the Brazilian Computer Society (SBC) and by the National Computer Networks Laboratory (LARC). SBRC has become the most important scientific event on computer networks and distributed systems in Latin America. Its importance may be measured by the number of papers submitted and attendants in recent years, which have been around 250-300 full papers and as many as 1200 participants per year.

In its 28th edition, the symposium will be held from 24 to 28th of May, 2010, in Gramado, Brazil. The event is being organized by the Instituto de Informática of Universidade Federal do Rio Grande do Sul (UFRGS). The symposium will be comprised of technical sessions, invited talks and tutorials presented by internationally acclaimed researchers, panels, several related workshops and a tools session. Specific calls to the several activities during SBRC will be later announced.

Looking forward to meeting you soon in the beautiful city of Gramado for the SBRC of Wine! You are very welcome!
